Myself and at least 2 others from my guild that I know about so far have been banned, at the same time. Obviously its a bug. What I'm concerned about is the loss of information - permanent bans Im guessing would result in a loss of all character information.

How do Anet address this? My armor and item costs alone couldnt be reimbursed with the 1.6million account limit.

Either could many others. Obviously without any way to prove this Anet wont bother compensating players.

Unless this is a superficial problem that resulted in players not able to log in and getting a ban message, but without the resulting conditions - then we'll be pretty ticked off.

But get your ppl to chk my account first Gaile!

heh. add me to the list. what have i done? afking for 5 days for rings? dude it's a money sink, anet wants us to afk there, they are just happy the more money we waste there. quote me the agreement underlining where it's told to be forbidden.
i trade with many many ppl because i pay cash to id goldies then i give them back? quote me the agreement again...
they believe me to be a bot because i run and run the same quest for hours in melandru? or because i opened 6000+ chests? cmon this is sad!!

i'll stay calm for 1-2-3 days hoping this is a server-side error soon to be solved. if not, i'll push CAPS LOCK soon

To answer your question, I have not been banned, but two of my friends were. This has turned into quite an s-house. I've been trying to load a lot of pages including the ncSoft support page, and I cannot load some because of this horrible server rush and overload. I hope this can be sorted out soon.

Same goes for my guild leader and I, knocked offline at the same time telling us we were perm banned. As of around 3:30pm CST.

I was banned too, code=045, was afk waiting for my dragon helm when it happened, got my mask, but I was banned when I got home from work. Sent support a message but Im hoping its a mistake.

Do people ever think about things anymore?

How many times have we seen such a large uproar about invalid bans? Never until now.

How many people have no clue why they've been banned? Alot.

How many people are 'good citizens' that have been banned? Alot.

Obviously something is going on with the system.

It's funny seeing the "omg, plz unban my good samaritan friend A-Net!" posts.
